Play Condition

Play condition work is basic repair work like changing one or two pads or bumpers, pad seating, tenon cork replacement, crack repair, etc.

Normally takes 1-4 hours.

Annual Maintenance

During an annual recommended servicing, I take the instrument apart and check for and correct loose springs and posts, uneven tone holes, dry bores, old or ripped pads, and more.

Normally takes 8 hours.

Overhaul

During an overhaul, I do all the steps in a service, as well as a full re-pad and replacement of all regulation materials and bumpers.
Can take several days to a week.
